1. Who we are
Works With Agents is operated by Vilius Vystartas, trading as Works With Agents, a UK sole trader. A postal address is available on request. We provide fixed-scope software engineering services. We are the controller for the personal data described below.
2. What we collect
Very little, because we are a consultancy rather than a platform.
- If you contact us: your name, email address, employer, and whatever you choose to tell us about your system. Enquiries arrive by email; this site has no contact form and no analytics.
- If we work together: the business contact details needed to run the engagement, and whatever access you grant us to your systems for its duration.
- If you sign in to the demonstration: the name and email held by our authentication provider, and records of what you did in the application.
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track visitors across sites.
3. Why, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and, if you engage us, to deliver the work — necessary for a contract with you, or for our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.
- To keep accounting and tax records — a legal obligation.
- To operate and secure the demonstration application — legitimate interest.
We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell or share personal data for anyone else's purposes.
4. Your data during an engagement
Where an engagement gives us access to systems containing personal data, you remain the controller and we act as a processor on your documented instructions, under a written data processing agreement. We take the least access that lets us do the work, prefer non-production environments, and return or delete what we hold at the end of the engagement.
5. Who else sees it
Our email provider, and — for the demonstration application only — our hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH (Nuremberg, Germany) and our authentication provider Clerk. Each processes data only to provide that service to us. We add no other processors without updating this page.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months. Engagement records: for the period required by tax and accounting law. Demonstration organisation data is erased on request, and account removal is handled with the identity provider. The application deletes operational records on a schedule. You can ask us to delete earlier at any time.
7. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you may access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you are in the European Economic Area, equivalent rights apply under the EU GDPR. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email us.
9. Contact
